I see so many negative posts about how long it took for service repairs ...obviously, folks didn't check around most dealerships are backed up and busy. .my car was th re for warranty work after a couple of days ride sharing 100 mile round trip to work daily financially it was destroying me slowly. I called spoke to Ryan who helped me get one of the dealership cars so I could continue to work and not lose my job! My car is complete I left happy with my automobile and so glad I kicked the pllatte county dealership to the curb Smithvile is my preferred dealer! from now on 😁😁

After given Smithville Ford - Service a second chance I will never be going back. I would rather have my car burn up in a fire then go back to them. The lack of communication is absolutely regardless. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They held my car hostage for 3 days. I missed 3 days of work, I missed multiple appointments, and never once did they call to communicate what was going on. I had to call in and every time they acted like it was a huge hassle. Walley - the manager - should be fired for the way he conducts the service side of Smithville Ford.

Bought a car from there for my son June 2024. Not their fault but car had a lot of issues and spent a lot of time in the shop. Always accommodated us with a loaner vehicle. Had some ups and downs through the repair process but they ended up putting a new motor in. Car still had issues and just deemed it was a lemon from Ford. At the end of the day they bought the car back for the entire purchase price so hats off to the owners for stepping up and making things right and not leaving my son with a POS car

I would give them a 5 out of 5 stars but, I don't believe in that the service was perfect. Smithville Ford is a great place to find the vehicle that's just for you. I recently purchased a used F150 LIGHTNING from them online. Mr. Chip the sales rep was kind and helpful though the process. The finance department also helped me with a great extended warranty on it, too. So let's talk about the process, if you would call it that 🤔 . It was long and tedious that stretch over while week! Who would want to buy a vehicle and it took a week to purchase and to turn over ownership? It would have been nice it the online sales process was streamline with a PDF outlining the process. It felt like I was fumbling through the dark with the process. Though I know this was this is not truly the experience for most, but it was the experience for me. Overall the if not for the duration of the process, I would say that experience would have been great. I got the vehicle I wanted for the price I could afford. That's not what you hear about from most dealership. In the end I would still recommend Smithville Ford to a family or friend.

Got responses by email and text to come look at a truck and they had it ready for us when we pulled up. Casey and the finance team was great and helped us find the best interest rate. The truck was fairly priced and they went above and beyond in adding an anti-rust coating before we took it home. Very pleased.

What's twas disappointed to find out? That's after buying my tires. There can no longer get free rotation with my oil change but tires for 2 different vehicles so once I need new tires again. We'll go elsewhere to another Ford dealer that will allow the free rotation with tires, which means I will also take my service work.There also

Bought a used car, did the research for an estimated price, given the make, model, and year they had it priced about $2,000 high. There was a tracking device on it, which we ask to be removed as we had no need for it or its features and saw no need to pay for it, they removed it and promptly put it back on. I beleive it was the head of sales was rather pushy to make a deal the same day with the great price of $10,000 for a car with little demand given it had been on the lot for a while. It is important to note that it was listed as $10,000 flat on the website, but apon further inspection, the price began to clime upwards of $11,500 the longer we talked with the sales person. The car itself is in great condition, but the detailer must've been on an extreme budget as there was obvious dirt left in the car, a used bandage later found under a seat, and the ghost of Little Trees past in the glove box. Not the best place to purchase a car, but if you're in a pinch they will put you on the road.

My wife took her car to a oil change place to have the oil changed and they stated the car had a coolant leak from the water pump, so we took it to Smithville ford for them to have a look. When we dropped the car off we told the service advisor if the car neede major repairs like a water pump we were going to trade it in and buy a new car. The service advisor from Smithville ford called and said the car doesn't have a coolant leak and I asked if the cooling system was pressure tested. He said yes no leaks. The car could use some maintenance though. Tune up, injector cleaning, engine air filter ect.. we told them if the car is not leaking coolant from the water pump go ahead and do the tune up ($500.00). After the tune up was done we got a call with bad news. The car needed a new water pump due to a coolant leak from the water pump? Estimate was $2800.00. This is a classic bait and switch I'm my eyes. I am a service manager at a dealership for big trucks so I figured I would call and talk to the service manager to figure out how this happend. Called and left him 2 voice mails with no call back. Apparently a lube technician can see a coolant leak but a ford certified mechanic can't? We were forced to pay the bill for the tune up and the service manager has yet to call me back after 2 weeks. Unfortunately for them this costed them a sale of a new car from their dealership. We purchased a brand new car that weekend from another dealership. One we can trust unfortunately not in our home town.

The car buying experience was great but shortly after i got the vehicle it started having transmission issues and the exhaust started rattling. I took it in and they looked at it for two hours and said they would need to tear the transmission apart but it was "fine" to drive. They still haven't fixed the exhaust either which i was told this was also covered under warranty but then was told at the end it wasn't. Sales manager finally called me back after two weeks of trying to get ahold of him and said he'd give me a loaner so they can look at it but its been a week and a half and still no call. Now, i paid out of my pocket for these issues.

Here today to pick up escape. Scheduled for all day on recall repairs. All they did was an inspection for second time. I told the service guy we were here for repairs on 2/5. We recieved email parts were in. All they did was an inspection AGAIN. Kid in service department doesn’t listen and it looks like both times I have spoken to him he was high. The new ford dealer needs to straighten act up now. I will go back to Sneed or Liberty if they don’t. Recommend you hire responsible service person. Me a retired engineer would do it.

The customer service was great! But. Ive been twice to fix an oil leak and thousands of dollars later and I'm still leaking and they don't know where it's coming from. While they had my car they did give me a loaner to drive which was very nice of them to do. But I'm still leaking oil... and they didn't look at this second visit from the first they just started a whole new price tag to what I've already paid. And according to someone in the office there would've been 3 pairs of expert eyes on this new leak. But they didn't want to keep it any longer and told me to drive it for a week and then come back if it gets bad. It's still very much there... I want to cry with the amount of money I've spent and I still have a leak.

Listened to the sales people cussing profusely and then when it was time to pay was told that they found a dirty filter but didn’t replace it because their automated system couldn’t send us a text with the request. Why not just walk out and ask about it??? We will drive out of smithville moving forward when our vehicles need service.

was going to purchase a vehicle then after several days of going back and forth, realized the title was marked as a lemon/branded title on carfax. on the listing, smithville clearly state it has an accident free carfax but coincidentally failed to mention this lemon title. its also priced way too high for a branded title! no one would have noticed if they didnt take the extra step... very very sneaky and deceiving. The sales rep also was trying to say he had other buyers to make me pay more, which was not true. overall would not recommend this dealer based on this experience, they seem very sneaky.

I spent months looking for a very specific Super Duty with the options and engine I wanted. They had it, and with extremely low miles!! I drove from Iowa to purchase it. I was able to do a deposit over the phone to keep other peoples mitts off the truck. Sales staff was pleasant. Took a while to get the title to the truck, but the manager covered the late fees for licensing. Dealership could use some updates, not as nice as most of the Ford dealerships.

This place is a joke! I already have the car I want picked out. I do a test drive. We go to sign paperwork and I'm asking what I'm signing because I already have financing. The guy can't explain what this paperwork is or what it's for. I had to call my bank to make sure this was part of it. Moving forward, all the documents I sign aren't even my correct name. They are getting 2 stars instead of 0 because Dave in finance is AWESOME! They say they will call me when the bank finalizes everything. I leave. Bank calls paperwork on their end is done. THEY HOLD THE CAR HOSTAGE. The bank sent proof of payment. I've NEVER had a dealership wait for the check to be FedEx. The check arrives, I let them know I am on my way over an hour before I get here, he says he will get the car ready. Upon arrival the car is not out front. He then states HE STILL NEEDS TO GET THE TEMP TAG. They knew I was coming hours prior to this and that I need to get to work. What a waste of time. While I'm standing in the lobby one of the workers is yelling and chastising a coworker for being late and she tries to explain he cuts her off and keeps going. Literally in the lobby while people are around. Extremely unprofessional you don't yell at people and if you need to coach them do it in private. Finally a temp tag. Swap it out and guess what!? Car is damn near out of gas. If I didn't want this car so bad I would have went somewhere else.

Brought my truck in for a diagnostic on the transmission. The guy I spoke with on the phone was fantastic, answered all my questions, and was able to give me an accurate quote for the diagnostic. After I brought it in, they gave me a call to say that I needed a new transmission because the technician "smelled burnt transmission fluid and found metal in the fluid." I wasn't buying this, so I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. When I was picking up the truck, the service manager tried to sell me on a new transmission multiple times, and claimed I had a gear missing. Which is false. Its completely drivable. Once I picked up my truck, we found zero evidence that ANY fluid had been taken out of the pan, or otherwise checked. We took it apart ourselves to confirm the issues they found and were not able to confirm any of the issues. Fluid was not burnt, and there was no metal in the fluid.

Do not recommend this service department !!!!! Car has had the same problem for 2 years now.. I understand that the old techs have been replaced by new owners, but I told them what I wanted to get done and just like before they focused on something else and didn't do what I asked for. now they want to charge me 4000.00 to fix a problem that I have had all along ! They can't seem to find anything in my past history of the car saying that this was the issue!! Very rude and non professional!! I won't be back !!

I purchased a 2024 Bronco Sport from Smithville Ford this month. They were the only dealer in the KC area that had the model and trim I wanted. The test drive was good with a mix of city and highway driving. The buying of the vehicle was painless and after a little back and forth we settled on a fair price. While we were finishing up the paperwork, they washed and cleaned up the vehicle and took it to fill up the gas tank. That was very much appreciated, a lot of dealer do not do that anymore. Small things like that go a long way with me. I was notified a few days later that my title was ready to be picked up. I had an issue a week later with something on the paint, I took it buy there and they corrected the problem right then with no questions asked. I would definitely purchase a new vehicle from them again.

I spent months looking for a very specific Super Duty with the options and engine I wanted. They had it, and with extremely low miles!! I drove from Iowa to purchase it. I was able to do a deposit over the phone to keep other peoples mitts off the truck. Sales staff was pleasant. Took a while to get the title to the truck, but the manager covered the late fees for licensing. Dealership could use some updates, not as nice as most of the Ford dealerships.

This place is a joke! I already have the car I want picked out. I do a test drive. We go to sign paperwork and I'm asking what I'm signing because I already have financing. The guy can't explain what this paperwork is or what it's for. I had to call my bank to make sure this was part of it. Moving forward, all the documents I sign aren't even my correct name. They are getting 2 stars instead of 0 because Dave in finance is AWESOME! They say they will call me when the bank finalizes everything. I leave. Bank calls paperwork on their end is done. THEY HOLD THE CAR HOSTAGE. The bank sent proof of payment. I've NEVER had a dealership wait for the check to be FedEx. The check arrives, I let them know I am on my way over an hour before I get here, he says he will get the car ready. Upon arrival the car is not out front. He then states HE STILL NEEDS TO GET THE TEMP TAG. They knew I was coming hours prior to this and that I need to get to work. What a waste of time. While I'm standing in the lobby one of the workers is yelling and chastising a coworker for being late and she tries to explain he cuts her off and keeps going. Literally in the lobby while people are around. Extremely unprofessional you don't yell at people and if you need to coach them do it in private. Finally a temp tag. Swap it out and guess what!? Car is damn near out of gas. If I didn't want this car so bad I would have went somewhere else.

Brought my truck in for a diagnostic on the transmission. The guy I spoke with on the phone was fantastic, answered all my questions, and was able to give me an accurate quote for the diagnostic. After I brought it in, they gave me a call to say that I needed a new transmission because the technician "smelled burnt transmission fluid and found metal in the fluid." I wasn't buying this, so I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. When I was picking up the truck, the service manager tried to sell me on a new transmission multiple times, and claimed I had a gear missing. Which is false. Its completely drivable. Once I picked up my truck, we found zero evidence that ANY fluid had been taken out of the pan, or otherwise checked. We took it apart ourselves to confirm the issues they found and were not able to confirm any of the issues. Fluid was not burnt, and there was no metal in the fluid.

Do not recommend this service department !!!!! Car has had the same problem for 2 years now.. I understand that the old techs have been replaced by new owners, but I told them what I wanted to get done and just like before they focused on something else and didn't do what I asked for. now they want to charge me 4000.00 to fix a problem that I have had all along ! They can't seem to find anything in my past history of the car saying that this was the issue!! Very rude and non professional!! I won't be back !!

I purchased a 2024 Bronco Sport from Smithville Ford this month. They were the only dealer in the KC area that had the model and trim I wanted. The test drive was good with a mix of city and highway driving. The buying of the vehicle was painless and after a little back and forth we settled on a fair price. While we were finishing up the paperwork, they washed and cleaned up the vehicle and took it to fill up the gas tank. That was very much appreciated, a lot of dealer do not do that anymore. Small things like that go a long way with me. I was notified a few days later that my title was ready to be picked up. I had an issue a week later with something on the paint, I took it buy there and they corrected the problem right then with no questions asked. I would definitely purchase a new vehicle from them again.

I see so many negative posts about how long it took for service repairs ...obviously, folks didn't check around most dealerships are backed up and busy. .my car was th re for warranty work after a couple of days ride sharing 100 mile round trip to work daily financially it was destroying me slowly. I called spoke to Ryan who helped me get one of the dealership cars so I could continue to work and not lose my job! My car is complete I left happy with my automobile and so glad I kicked the pllatte county dealership to the curb Smithvile is my preferred dealer! from now on 😁😁

After given Smithville Ford - Service a second chance I will never be going back. I would rather have my car burn up in a fire then go back to them. The lack of communication is absolutely regardless. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They held my car hostage for 3 days. I missed 3 days of work, I missed multiple appointments, and never once did they call to communicate what was going on. I had to call in and every time they acted like it was a huge hassle. Walley - the manager - should be fired for the way he conducts the service side of Smithville Ford.
